8. Cookies
Necessary functions work without analytics cookies. You can accept, refuse or later change analytics cookies at any time on this page. Browser settings can additionally remove stored cookies.
If you accept analytics cookies, we store the pseudonymous Google Analytics client and session ID together with the visit source with your order in our webshop system, to measure which channel led to a purchase. If you refuse or withdraw, nothing is stored and existing values are removed from your cart.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, Mailchimp adds an identifier to the links in our emails. When you open such a link, we check with Mailchimp that you are a subscriber, remove the identifier from the address bar and place two functional cookies in that browser for 180 days. nv_subscriber holds your email address in encrypted form and cannot be read by scripts on the page; nv_mc only holds the number 1. They allow us to send you, as a subscriber, a reminder via Mailchimp about a cart you did not check out. Once you start checking out, a third functional cookie, nv_mc_co, remembers for 14 days which cart went to checkout, without personal data, so no reminder follows for it; placing an order also cancels the reminder. The button in a reminder puts the wines back in your cart on our site; a functional cookie per reminder, nv_mc_src_ followed by a code, then remembers for 14 days, without personal data, which reminder the cart came from, so that reminder is withdrawn as soon as you change the cart or check out. After unsubscribing you no longer receive reminders, and you can remove the cookies at any time through your browser.
If you sign in to your NEVINI account, encrypted functional cookies keep you signed in: __Host-nevini-customer for at most 30 minutes, renewed with __Host-nevini-customer-refresh and __Host-nevini-customer-identity for up to 30 days after your last visit. Signing out removes them. When you sign in, we also check with Mailchimp whether your account's email address is subscribed to our newsletter. Only then does that browser get the cookies nv_subscriber and nv_mc described above, for at most 30 days and as long as you are signed in, plus, if a cart is already waiting, nv_mc_sync with only the value 1 for ten minutes, so that cart is synced once. That way you can receive a reminder about a cart you did not check out. Signing in alone is never permission for marketing emails: if you are not a subscriber, nothing is set. Signing out removes the cookies that signing in placed (not those from a link in our emails) and the pending reminder for that browser's cart.
9. Google Customer Reviews
When Google Customer Reviews is displayed or used, Google receives transaction data needed for the survey invitation: your order number, email address, delivery country, estimated delivery date and, where available, product codes (GTINs). If you opt in, Google may send you a one-time survey invitation after your order. Participation is voluntary and your choice does not affect your order.
Google and its partners may place or read cookies and use similar technologies, such as web beacons, for Google Customer Reviews. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Read more in Google Privacy Policy and the Google Cookie Policy.
