Our Story
NEVINI was born from a genuine love for wine and the people who make it. Based in Maastricht - a city with a rich gastronomic culture - we select distinctive wines from a variety of regions.
Our approach differs from that of large importers. We explore producers, origins and styles carefully, taste our collection and select a focused range.
We serve both private individuals who want to enjoy a special bottle at home, and restaurants, hotels and caterers who want to elevate their wine list. Personal contact is always at the heart of what we do.
How we taste and select
Our articles and product recommendations combine producer facts with our own tasting assessment. We keep those two sources clearly separate.
1. Origin
We verify the producer, region, grape varieties, vintage and production method using information from the winery and the applicable appellation.
2. Tasting
We assess aroma, flavour, acidity, tannin or texture, balance and finish. Those sensory descriptions are our own judgement, not a producer claim.
3. Practical advice
We translate that assessment into serving temperature, food pairing, drinking window and value advice so you can choose the right bottle for the occasion.
