Description

Cascina Ghercina Brachetto is a lightly sparkling, sweet wine from Piedmont with a low alcohol level. Its bright red to rosy-red colour reflects a nose of roses, raspberries and red berries. The palate remains light and fresh, preventing the sweetness from feeling weighty. Product information for the 2025 identifies Brachetto as the grape and Piemonte DOC as the origin. This is a very different style from a dry red wine: aromatic, soft and inviting, with a gentle mousse. Cascina Ghercina shows Piedmont's playful, dessert-friendly side through a wine that is principally about floral fragrance, red fruit and enjoyment around the table.
