Prunotto Costamiòle 2008 is a mature Barbera d'Asti from Piedmont. This older vintage offers a different perspective on Barbera from a young, fruit-driven wine. Its described style is full and spicy, with plum, cherry, cinnamon and a long finish. Bottle ageing may have further developed its aromas, and natural sediment may be present. Pour carefully and let it unfold in the glass alongside lamb, a stew or mature cheese.
