Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva Sergio Zenato 2017

Zenato Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva Sergio Zenato 2017 is the house's signature wine: an Amarone Riserva from the oldest vineyards of Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella, made only from the best selections. The wine carries the name of founder Sergio Zenato and is built for long aging.

The grapes are hand-selected, dried for about four months and then slowly fermented. The wine ages for around five years in large Slavonian oak barrels and then at least one year in bottle. The nose is broad and mature, with marasca cherry, dried plum, fig, tobacco, leather, sweet spices, licorice and subtle balsamic nuances.
