Description

Cascina Ghercina’s Barbaresco 2023 presents Piedmont Nebbiolo in a warm, full red wine. Balsamic nuances and a supple tannin structure shape its described style. It receives eighteen months in large Slavonian oak casks. Alongside Barolo, this Barbaresco offers another way to explore the same grape. Choose food that can meet the wine’s structure while still leaving enough room for its more refined side to remain noticeable. A fitting pairing is mushroom risotto.
