Numanthia 2020 is a powerful Toro made from old Tinta de Toro vines, the local expression of Tempranillo. The grapes come from low-yielding vineyards in a dry, extremely continental climate and are selected by hand.
The nose opens with ripe blackberry, black cherry and plum, followed by violets, licorice, cocoa, spices and toasted oak. The palate is broad and intense, with abundant dark fruit, firm yet ripe tannins and a long, warm finish.
