Combined online rating
Method and source check
We check multiple rating platforms for every wine where accessible: Vivino, Wine-Searcher, Wine Spectator, Decanter, James Suckling, Robert Parker Wine Advocate. Only verified scores matching the offered vintage or NV are shown and included.
2 exact platform scores are weighted equally, regardless of their attached rating counts. Native 99- and 100-point scales are normalized from 50→1 to their own maximum→5 (99→5 or 100→5); display and filtering use one decimal. Aggregator and critic-platform scores can partly overlap.

Description
Domaine de la Janasse Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Chaupin is an exceptional single-vineyard wine, made from 100% Grenache from vines over 100 years old from the Chapouin vineyard. This is one of the most acclaimed cuvées of the southern Rhône.
On the nose, an explosion of ripe red fruit: cherries, raspberries and strawberries, complemented by Provençal herbs, lavender, garrigue and a subtle spiced note. On the palate it is intense, full and opulent, with a velvet texture, soft tannins and an incredible concentration of fruit. Despite the power, it retains a surprising elegance and freshness.
