Description

Vieilles Vignes 2020 is a concentrated Châteauneuf-du-Pape from Domaine de la Janasse. The cuvée is associated with old vines and shows a dark-fruited, spicy direction. Grenache provides the foundation of the style, with other Rhône varieties adding structure. This is a red worth giving some space: in a generous glass, alongside a leisurely dinner and with enough time to explore more than the first impression. A fitting pairing is slow-cooked beef short rib.
