Matallana 2019

Telmo Rodríguez Matallana 2019 is a parcel blend from old vineyards around five villages in Ribera del Duero. Tinto Fino dominates, with small proportions of local varieties; organic farming, hand harvesting and native yeasts preserve the character of the limestone-rich soils.

The wine offers aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant and cranberry, with orange peel, graphite, licorice, cocoa, coffee and fine spices. The palate is powerful and precise, with chalky tannins, fresh tension and a long, smoky-mineral finish.
