Tiraki Longfield Farm Single Vineyard Chardonnay 2024

This Longfield Farm Chardonnay gives Marlborough's Southern Valleys a rich yet balanced expression. The grapes are hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed, with fermentation in French oak barriques and puncheons, partly new, adding texture and detail. The 2024 is described through butter, salted lemon and baked apple, followed by layered stone fruit and a creamy mouthfeel. There is also plenty of energy in the palate. It is therefore a generous Chardonnay without relying solely on oak weight. For this single-vineyard wine, Tiraki places emphasis on the fruit and the personality of the site, creating an inviting style with enough complexity for a considered food pairing.
