Description
Kreyss Alto Adige DOC Sauvignon Blanc is an aromatic white wine from the cool hills of South Tyrol. The vineyards are located on east-facing slopes at 450-600 meters altitude, with sandy and gravel-rich soils rich in dolomite.
The wine has a pale straw yellow color. On the nose, characteristic grassy and floral tones of elderflower, chamomile and fresh straw, complemented by subtle gooseberry, tomato leaf, lemon and lime, wrapped in expressive passion fruit and wet stone minerality.
On the palate, the wine is crisp and fresh with typical Sauvignon Blanc acidity and a fresh finish. The cooling evening winds ensure ideal temperature regulation during ripening. Production includes cold maceration and temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
Ideal as an aperitif or with freshwater fish, vegetable dishes, goat cheese and shellfish.
