Description
Château La Haye - Majesté Saint-Estèphe 2016. A fleshy, powerful and characterful Saint-Estèphe with a deep ruby red color. The old vines deliver remarkable concentration and complexity.
On the nose intense aromas of black currant, ripe plums, red cherry, complemented by sandalwood, graphite and fine spiciness thanks to the French oak.
On the palate the wine shows itself full, muscular and velvety, carried by the depth typical of older vines. Rich dark fruit, cedar and a subtle smoky accent come together in a harmonious structure. The tannins are elegant but firm, and perfectly interwoven. The finish is long, warm and refined, with a spicy touch.
Excellent with game dishes, lamb, rich meat preparations and creamy cheeses.
A Limited Edition of exceptional quality: born from old vines, crafted from the best fruit, and with a stately complexity that has characterized Château La Haye for centuries. Now beautifully drinkable, with still good aging potential.
