Description
Zýmē Kairos is an exceptional red wine from Valpolicella, made from at least 15 different grape varieties - 11 red and 4 white grapes - that together create a mosaic of flavors. The name 'Kairos' comes from ancient Greek and means 'the right moment'.
The wine has a brilliant ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose, complex aromas of red fruit, forest fruit, flowers, sweet spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves, complemented by tobacco and mineral accents.
On the palate it is rich, enveloping and complex, with a full body and intense persistence. The texture is soft with charming sweet fruit on the finish. The wine undergoes fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel and concrete tanks for 20-25 days, followed by aging in French oak barriques for at least 36 months and another year in bottle.
Winner of Vivino's 2020 Wine Style Award for Northern Italy Red. Ideal with beef, lamb, pasta and game dishes.
