Description
Zýmē Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2018 is a prestigious red wine from the famous Valpolicella region. The wine is made from 40% Corvina, 30% Corvinone, 15% Rondinella, 10% Oseleta and 5% Croatina.
The wine has a deep ruby red color with garnet reflections. The bouquet is intense and complex, with aromas of ripe red fruit, candied cherries, plums, sweet spices, dark chocolate, tobacco and balsamic notes.
On the palate it is full and velvety, with elegant tannins and flavors of dark berries, cocoa and vanilla, perfectly balanced by freshness and a mineral finish with pepper undertones. The grapes are naturally air-dried on wooden racks for 3-4 months, followed by fermentation and at least 5 years of aging in large Slavonian oak barrels.
