Description
Zýmē Syrah is an elegant and complex red wine from Veneto, made from 100% Syrah grapes. This wine is a challenge for winemaker Celestino Gaspari, who handles the grape 'with elegance and finesse'.
The wine has a deep ruby red color with purple reflections. On the nose, an intense bouquet of pepper, dark chocolate, dark fruit and subtle spicy notes. The complexity unfolds in multiple layers.
On the palate it is full, powerful and persistent, with well-integrated tannins and a long, elegant finish. The wine ages for at least 48 months in new barriques, followed by at least 1 year of bottle aging, which provides exceptional depth and refinement.
Ratings: Doctor Wine 94/100, James Suckling 92/100, Falstaff 92 points. Ideal with lamb, game, red meat, charcuterie and aged, spicy cheeses.
