Côte-Rôtie AC Brune & Blonde 2021

E. Guigal Côte-Rôtie Brune & Blonde is an iconic wine from the northern Rhône, made from 96% Syrah and 4% Viognier. The name refers to the two famous hills of Côte-Rôtie: the Côte Brune (dark clay soil) and the Côte Blonde (light limestone soil), which together determine the unique complexity of this wine.

On the nose, intense aromas of blackberries, violets, pepper, smoked meat, olives and a subtle floral tone from the Viognier. On the palate it is powerful and elegant, with a full body, fine tannins and flavors of dark fruit, spices, black pepper and a hint of smoked meat.
