Description
Gitana Reserva Chardonnay is a dry, full-bodied Chardonnay from Moldova's Valul lui Traian wine region. The grapes come from Romanovca and are carefully processed to preserve their fresh, fruity character.
The nose offers ripe apricot, melon, grapefruit and honey. The palate is fresh and elegant yet full-bodied, with notes of acacia blossom, lime blossom, hazelnut and pineapple.
After a brief cold maceration, the must ferments at 12-14°C. The wine then matures in stainless-steel tanks, keeping the pure fruit and lively freshness at the forefront. Serve at 10-12°C with lamb, game, fresh vegetables or mature and semi-mature cheeses.
