Description
Gitana Lupi Rezerva is a powerful and elegant red wine from Moldova, a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 20% Saperavi. The wine has a deep ruby red color with purple reflections. The bouquet is intense and rich, with aromas of blackberries, black currants, plums, chocolate, coffee beans, licorice and Moroccan oak wood. In the mouth it is full and structured, with powerful tannins and a long, refined finish. The wine ages 10-12 months in 225 liter oak barrels, followed by at least two years of aging in large Krasnodar oak barrels, which contributes to its complexity and elegance. With an alcohol percentage of 14.5%, this is an ideal companion for smoked meat, grilled meat, mushrooms, game, red meat and aged cheeses.
