Description
Gitana La Petite Sophie is a refined dry white blend of Chardonnay, Fetească Regală and Riesling from Valul lui Traian. The different varieties and vineyard sites bring together ripe fruit, aromatic freshness and a creamy texture.
This golden wine offers aromas of rose, acacia, saffron, pear, peach, pineapple and candied citrus, with delicate hints of vanilla. The palate is rich and mineral, with balanced acidity and an elegant, lingering finish with a soft, creamy touch.
The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo a brief cold maceration. Riesling and Fetească Regală mature on the fine lees in stainless steel, while the Chardonnay spends four to six months in small oak barrels. Serve at 10-12°C with shellfish, grilled salmon, lobster, white fish, poultry or pasta in a creamy sauce.
