Description
Guerriero Del Mare 2018 is an exceptional vintage version of the gastronomic white wine from the Guerrieri family. This wine is 7 years older than the regular Del Mare and has aged for 8 years, resulting in an even fuller palate and an even more intense character.
Made from 100% Bianchello and produced only in exceptional vintages, the grapes come from the oldest vineyards of the Guerrieri family and were late harvested and strictly hand-selected.
After precise vinification with partial skin maceration, the wine aged for one year in cement tanks and four months in French tonneaux. Through the additional years of bottle aging, it has developed into an even fuller and more elegant wine with more intense aromas of citrus, peach and white flowers, complemented by riper herbal notes such as rosemary and sage.
Fresh, mineral and harmonious, with a long, lively finish and a subtle oak touch that has become even more refined with age.
Ideal with fish dishes, shellfish and creamy cheeses. Serve at 8-10°C.
