Description
Pietro Dal Cero 2019 is Cà dei Frati's monumental Amarone, dedicated to father Pietro and the family's Veronese roots. The classic blend of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Croatina creates a powerful, layered wine with the concentration and warmth expected of a great Amarone.
The nose combines black cherry, amarena, chocolate and sweet spices with rose, anise and wild mint. The palate is rich and intense, with ripe fruit, supple tannins and a long, elegant finish in which coffee and soft tobacco return.
