Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé 2016
Combined online rating
Method and source check
We check multiple rating platforms for every wine where accessible: Vivino, Wine-Searcher, Wine Spectator, Decanter, James Suckling, Robert Parker Wine Advocate. Only verified scores matching the offered vintage or NV are shown and included.
3 exact platform scores are weighted equally, regardless of their attached rating counts. Native 99- and 100-point scales are normalized from 50→1 to their own maximum→5 (99→5 or 100→5); display and filtering use one decimal. Aggregator and critic-platform scores can partly overlap.

Description
Château La Couspaude Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé 2016 is a top wine from the right bank of Bordeaux. The blend consists of 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, from an exceptional terroir in the center of Saint-Émilion village on a limestone plateau.
On the nose, intense aromas of ripe black cherries, plums, blackcurrant, vanilla, toast and a subtle floral touch. On the palate it is full, ripe and generous, with silky tannins, a velvet texture and flavors of dark fruit, mocha, chocolate and spices. The 2016 vintage is considered one of the best of the decade.
