Quarz Sauvignon
Online rating across all vintages
Method and source check
We check multiple rating platforms for every wine where accessible: Vivino, Wine-Searcher, Wine Spectator, Decanter, James Suckling, Robert Parker Wine Advocate. Only verified scores matching the offered vintage or NV are shown and included.
This family-wide score is not tied to one vintage and can differ from the bottle offered. Because this catalog wine has no stated vintage, professional scores for a specific vintage remain research context and are not included. The family score is excluded from the rating filter.

Description
Quarz Sauvignon is Cantina Terlano's iconic Sauvignon Blanc from Alto Adige. The grapes grow on light, sandy loam soils over volcanic quartz porphyry at elevations between 300 and 550 metres. This distinctive terroir gives the wine its characteristic tension, depth and saline minerality.
The nose opens with mango, papaya, lime and pink grapefruit, followed by lemongrass, lemon balm, mint, green tea, gooseberry and flint. The palate is rich and juicy yet precise and energetic, with fine minerality and a powerful, lingering finish.
