Description
Merum Priorati Inici is an elegant red wine from the rugged Priorat, a blend of Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan and Grenache. Deep cherry red in color, with aromas of raspberry, black currants, anise and subtle spicy notes from the wood. In the mouth fresh and well structured, with balanced fruit, elegant tannins and a juicy, persistent finish. The grapes are hand harvested, followed by fermentation in stainless steel and 8-12 months aging in 2nd and 3rd year French oak barrels. Ideal with grilled meat, stews and aged cheeses.
