Speri Vigneto Monte Sant'Urbano Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is a prestigious Amarone from the classic Valpolicella region, produced by the renowned winery Speri. This wine is made from carefully hand-selected grapes that are dried for approximately 100 days according to the traditional appassimento method, resulting in a weight loss of approximately 40%. The wine has a deep garnet red color. The bouquet is ethereal and complex, with aromas of dried fruit. In the mouth it is full, warm, enveloping and dry, with a rich structure and a long, elegant finish. The wine ages 24 months in 500 liter French oak tonneaux and then 18 months in medium to large Slavonian oak casks, followed by 12 months bottle aging. Perfect with flavorful dishes based on red meat, stews, game and aged cheeses.
